June 2013: Stakeholder Symposium (Baltimore, MD)

OVERVIEW

The EDM Forum 2013 Symposium, took place in Baltimore, MD on June 22, 2013 in advance of AcademyHealth’s Annual Research Meeting. The Symposium brought together a select, multi-disciplinary group of leaders in the field for an interactive dialogue on progress towards using electronic clinical data for comparative effectiveness research (CER), patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR), and quality improvement (QI). Participating in the EDM Forum Symposium provided an opportunity to join this collaborative community of researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to reflect on lessons learned from unprecedented national investments by AHRQ and others to build infrastructure and conduct CER, PCOR and QI.
